Ongoing facilitation of 7 multi-party roundtables (Quesnel, Williams Lake, Clearwater, Clinton, Lillooet, Similkameen and Shuswap) and their surrounding areas for Fraser Basin Council. Facilitate quarterly meetings of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District FireSmart Committee. Periodic facilitation of the Wildfire Joint Panel of Forest Professionals BC and BC Wildfire Service.
Working with Simon Fraser University's Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue's Mitigating Wildfire Initiative to address challenges around what is needed to build an economically viable wildfire risk reduction industry in BC. Planning a March 2025 dialogue.
Ongoing facilitation and coordination of restoration initiatives in-stream, in forests/uplands, and the built environment across disciplines and sectors. Ongoing work with City of Merritt's STUWI(x) project to facilitate a steering committee to guide restoration of the Coldwater River near the confluence with Nicola River.
Facilitating a process to update approaches to fisheries related incidental mortality involving representatives of conservation, sport fishing, Indigenous organizations and Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
Subcontracting to Madrone Environmental Services Ltd. to review hydrologist assessment and recommendations against BC Timber Sales forest stewardship plans in Cariboo-Chilcotin.
Facilitate quarterly working group meetings and an annual meeting of trail stewards, First Nations, provincial government and local government working collaboratively to advance reconciliation and sustainable trails development in the Shuswap.
Developing policy, protocol and operational documents for a new community forest.
Subcontracting to a fellow forester to assist with silviculture surveys in the Interior, aiming for 10-20 field/mental health days.
